Spatial Voter Model
A classical model of opinion dynamics and cultural consensus.
Initially, the grid is filled with agents holding random, competing opinions (colors/shapes).
Rule: In each step, a random agent looks at one random neighbor and adopts their opinion.
This completely memory-less, trend-following behavior gradually forms large domains of consensus (echo chambers). In 2D space, the boundaries between opinions undergo a random walk governed by surface tension, eventually leading to a monoculture where only one opinion survives.
