Majority Rule Cellular Automaton

A simple model of consensus dynamics or social conformity.
Rule: Every cell looks at its immediate neighbors (the Moore neighborhood, 9 cells including itself). The cell adopts the state that represents the majority.
Starting from a completely random noise configuration, the system rapidly self-organizes. Small islands of minority opinions are swallowed up by peer pressure, leading to large, stable, and continuous domains of consensus.
