This space runs standard Game of Life rules (Conway's rules) for healthy cells (.). However, one mutated cell (X) exists that ignores all rules. It unconditionally copies itself to adjacent spaces, consuming healthy cells until the entire canvas is a solid, dead block of malignancy.
